The Katrine Water Project will protect the supply of drinking water to some 700,000 customers in the City of Glasgow, parts of East and West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire and South Lanarkshire.  The project is designed to upgrade the current Loch Katrine Water Supply Scheme by replacing the old treatment facility located at Milngavie.  The proposed scheme will ensure that future drinking water supplies to customers in these supply areas meet UK water quality standards.  To see if you are currently supplied by the existing Milngavie Water Treatment facility click here.
